Our client is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Short-Term Financial Advisor to join their team.

The Short-Term Advisor will play a crucial role in managing and expanding their client base in a sustainable, profitable, and ethical manner.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Liaisons and Advisory Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk management and shortterm insurance advice to an assigned portfolio of existing clients.
  • Proactively prospect new clients to grow the insurance portfolio and achieve predetermined targets.
  • Deliver appropriate shortterm insurance and risk management advice according to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery, aiming to enhance clients' experience and promote client retention.
  • Collaborate closely with the appointed Line Manager to meet project goals and maintain client relationships, driving income generation and portfolio growth.
  • Generate new business through referrals and crossselling opportunities across various entities within the Origin group.
  • Manage and maintain the assigned client portfolio by overseeing client relations, assisting with claims, policy renewals, and addressing client queries promptly.
  • Oversee and manage quotations, policy activations, and amendments efficiently.

Internal Company and Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures for strategic marketing initiatives, internal marketing strategies, and customer segmentation models.
  • Follow company guidelines for operational matters, including the usage of approved documentation, customer experience policies, administrative procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Support administrative and claims teams as needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Engage in training programs related to productspecific training, class of business training, and CPD requirements, complying with regulatory standards.

Reporting and Feedback Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular reports to the Line Manager on goal management, renewals, marketing projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Attend and actively participate in Advisor Meetings as scheduled.
  • Report directly to the Line Manager (Executive Advisor) and contribute to the Advisory Team.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Registered as a Representative of a related Financial Services Provider (FSP).
  • Compliance with FAIS legislature requirements, including RE1 and RE5 certifications.
  • Fulfillment of CPD requirements and ongoing compliance with Fit and Proper standards as per the latest legislation.
