Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Implementation

  • Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns, including optimisations.
  • Responsible for working closely with the implementation and platform teams to align efforts and create cohesive demandgeneration efforts.
  • Responsible for working closely with the Partnerships and Growth team, as well as Comms to align efforts and create cohesive demandgeneration efforts for new and prospective countries.
  • Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Work closely with incountry partners and relevant stakeholders in the execution and implementation of the demand generation plan.
  • Identify and resolve challenges within the demandgeneration process.
  • Compile, write and generate reports for all demandgeneration activities conducted.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers, media partners and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay uptodate on new demandgeneration techniques.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Work in close coordination with the Implementation and Platform Teams for planning, implementing and monitoring of demandgeneration activities.

  • Supports the development and reviewing of key messages and assets and proposes delivery tools for demandgeneration in collaboration with the implementation and platform team.
  • Support the Platform team in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key demandgeneration activities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Delivery Operations to ensure adherence to SOPs.
  • Provide oversight for service providers handling different aspects of demandgeneration activities.
  • Train the team on field assessment and demandgeneration best practices and tools.
  • Draft and enable contracting best practices linked with demandgeneration.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Use data and analytics to measure and improve the performance of demandgeneration efforts.
  • Lead the periodic review and development of M&E tools for demandgeneration.
  • Measure and report on the success of demandgeneration campaigns using metrics such as (but not limited to):
  • Traffic
  • Engagement
  • Conversion
  • Retention
  • Revenue (cost and ROI)
  • Monitor the use of tools for demandgeneration reporting and ensure adherence to set standards.
  • Monitor demandgeneration activities, analyse reports to track performance and suggest improvements to the content and/or platform.

Relevant Qualifications

  • Degree in Health, Social Sciences, Communications or Marketing

Relevant Experience and Skills

  • Five years experience in a similar role or related field
  • Experience in data analysis and visualisation tools
  • Strong relationshipbuilding abilities with a diverse team
  • Experience creating and managing media strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing data and making datadriven decisions
  • Extensive experience growing subscribers for digital services throughout the African continent
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Experience working and/or managing demandgeneration projects in developing countries.
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools to create demand.
  • Experience in dealing with Government and connections to MNOs throughout the continent.
  • Passionate about the digital medium always in the know about the latest trends, technologies and platforms.
  • Exceptional use of PPM Pro and Agileplace.
  • Ability to selfmotivate and work with mínimal oversight.
  • Deep experience in the health domain (public/digital/primary) or within Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Experience working on demandgeneration activities within multiple African countries.
