Purpose:

The export administrator plays a critical part in the order to supply process.

Involved from early stage of the business until the equipment is delivered to the customer in a safe and efficient way.

Core elements of this role include transport planning, measurement of delivery accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 1 34 years export experience (Global exports, custom taxes, export documentation, shipping, container sizes, air freight).
  • Experience in Production and mining industries.
  • Ability to work in complex, interdisciplinary, crossfunctional and global teams.
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts and how they impact business.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient transport planning and shipments of products including in house, subcontracted, outsourced and nonassembly products.
  • Perform daily export operations in appliance with applicable trade laws and regulations.
  • Be in charge of local customs broker management to control that all exports are in compliance with national customs regulations.
  • Improving and finding new efficient ways of working in regards of routines and systems.
  • Review contractual purchase and delivery documents for alignment with Underground commercial conditions, mitigate contractual risk exposure.
  • Give excellent service to customer centres in various commercial matters.
  • Build competence to meet future deliveries of digitization, automation, interoperability, and electrification.
  • To give input for delivery risk analysis.
  • Work closely together with Trade Finance and Finance in order to find optimized solutions for terms of payment.
  • Working with the Underground Training Development Lead, develop and roll out training for the customer centre's about best practice when it comes to contracts and commercial terms.
  • Work closely with Global / EMENA Transportation team to establish a wellfunctioning cooperation that balances customer focus with production efficiency and compliance.
