IBM Cognos skills and experience required:
A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (designing and implementing solutions)

Experience in developing Cognos reports

Experience in the following functionalities; multi-page output, bursting, prompting, layout component references, drill through definitions, conditional styles, utilising already-written custom controls, custom HTML/CSS, macros

Experience in building metadata models on top of relational data sources in Framework Manager and/or Data Modules

Experience in handling Cognos Admin functions (reporting scheduling, backup scheduling, content development, folder & object security, license or group or role assignment, system status monitoring and error investigation/troubleshooting

Experience in installing and configuring new versions of Cognos as well as upgrading current versions

Understanding of Cognos Dashboards, Stories and Explore functionality

Experience with dimensional-style reporting in Cognos

Experience in using MDX functions to build off dimensional sources; Cognos PowerCubes, DMR packages, TM1 or SSAS cubes.

Technical and data skills and experience:

Understanding of security concepts such as AD/LDAP, authentication/authorization, SSO, SSL certificates, etc.

Knowledge of and (preferably) experience with AWS cloud infrastructure & services.
