We are seeking a highly organized and efficient temporary receptionist to join our team on an adhoc basis to support our clients' receptionist needs.

As a temporary receptionist, you will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, greeting clients, managing calendars, organizing paperwork, and providing general office support.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office
  • Managing a busy switchboard
  • Answer and transfer phone calls to the relevant person or department
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling
  • Keep records of office inventory and order supplies as necessary
  • Manage appointments and calendars
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Flexible availability to work on an oncall basis
