Job Description

As the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you'll ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of service and maximum up-time possible. Your role involves identifying potential IT failures from our systems and those we rely on, managing availability, performance, monitoring, incident response, and overall service management of the platforms and services owned by our company.

You'll collaborate closely with developers and infrastructure engineers to create and maintain services and systems capable of handling failures, meeting operational requirements. By ensuring systems are always available, reliable, and efficient as they expand, you will play a crucial role in every aspect of the company's online presence. Additionally, you will participate in the design and automation of tools and processes to enhance scalability and performance while proactively identifying and anticipating failures. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading player in the online gaming industry.

Qualifications

Essential skills:

  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITIL) with a solid grasp of its application in an agile DevOps setting
  • Familiarity with AWS services, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform, backed by a strong UNIX/Linux background
  • Proficiency in at least one configuration management solution (especially Ansible)
  • Python programming skills, complemented by knowledge of Bash and Java
  • Usage of monitoring tools such as New Relic and Elasticsearch
  • Passion for automating tasks
