Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with the construction of large roadrelated infrastructure projects related to geotechnical engineering and materials is required.
  • Must have experience with SANRAL projects and FIDIC.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Professional registration with ECSA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the teams involved with all the geotechnical engineering work etc.
  • Expected to develop a close relationship with the Lab Manager and ensure that technical and contractual requirements are complied with.
  • Responsible for the review, testing, and signoff on all data and test reports, after verifying test results.
  • Contract administration & and be able to train and mentor junior site staff.
  • Communicate with site teams and the local community.
