Objectives of Role:

Grade 12 and University Campaign

  • Providing input and lead campaigns
  • Drafting and sending personalised correspondence and marketing material to schools not on planned visit schedule
  • Delivering presentations at schools on opportunities presented to high potential applicants
  • Planning and executing campaigns at universities
  • Visiting schools and universities as per planned schedule
  • Completing school visit reports and completes contact sheets
  • Compiling evaluation reports on school visit
  • Creating awareness at relevant Expos
  • Conducting a followup SMS campaign with potential applicants
  • Launch campaign to educate Talent on the campaign and entrance requirements.
  • Coordinate the distribution of information on the Fellowship opportunity by Talent, Programme Participants and selected external partners.
  • Track and monitor deliverables from paid partnerships
  • Ensuring that selection presentations are updated in line with new campaign material
  • Executing an effective high school and university marketing campaign

360-Campaign

  • Provide input 360campaign.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders for campaign and collaboration.
  • Work on strategy to ensure reach to targeted schools and audiences.
  • Partner with AGEC and Scholarship teams where relevant to execute on campaign.

Grade 12 and University Assessment

  • Developing, planning, and facilitating activities at Entrepreneurial Selection Camp
  • Support the Assessment and Development team in administering assessment processes where applicable.

Selection Process

  • Continuous review and analysis of the selection process for a leaner and effective process

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Focusing on improving the quality of relationships with CoE and Gold Partner schools
  • Improving the relationship quality with strategic partners
  • Maintaining and enhancing internal stakeholder relations
  • Ensuring that a stakeholder communication feedback loop is established and implemented
  • Maintain stakeholder relationship throughout the year by honouring at least five stakeholder (schools, universities, NGOs & DBE Districts) invitations
  • Throughout the year, explore opportunities to partner with UKZN, NMU, RU & UFS in school visits.

Report

  • A month after the grade 12 & university campaigns close, produce an insight and analysis report that will contribute towards driving the Foundation's campaigning strategy.
  • Contribute towards the review and implementation report of the selection processes.
  • Collating and analysing relevant information and compiles quarterly and annual report.

Annual Budget/Financial Management

  • Provide budget input for Fellowship Selection activities.
  • Loading of quotations and invoices within budget on BPM for approval

Ad hoc

  • Supporting Line Manager with their tasks and activities where required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3year National Diploma Minimum
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Extensive travel
  • Own driver's license
  • Extended hours and weekend work when required

Competencies:

  • Strong Project Management Skills with a proven track record.
  • Some Consulting Experience
  • Out of the box thinker. Not scared to push boundaries.
  • Ability to plan, execute and lead.
  • Experience within the entrepreneurship space is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments.
