Your responsibilities and duties will be but not limited to:

  • Answering incoming calls professionally.
  • Handling queries from patients/clients respectfully and professionally.
  • Managing the diary appointment bookings and theater bookings.
  • Appointment reminders and courtesy followup on patients' post procedures.
  • Capturing patients' personal details and billing information on the system (Vericlaim) accurately and validating the details with the medical scheme.
  • Check medical aid funds available for inroom consultations before consultations.
  • Receiving cash payments from patients and issuing receipts.
  • Electronic filling.
  • Request authorisations for admissions and daily update the authorisation number on the system until the patient is discharged.
  • Liaise with medical schemes and patients for accounts and general queries.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for the information requested to provide quality patient services.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of patients' information.
  • Keeping the reception area, and the practice neat daily.
  • Cleaning the equipment in the procedure room.
  • Other admin and adhoc duties requested.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12), Tertiary qualification.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and loyal person.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Willing to learn.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
