We are in search of a meticulous and highly analytical Professional in Business Data Analysis proficient in statistical analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence. Skilled at converting data into actionable insights to guide business decisions and enhance operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate reports on BI Tool for the UK/Europe Customer Base and any necessary ad-hoc reports. Ready to fill in for the Business Intelligence Data Analyst Africa in their absence.
  • Develop personalized reports using the datasets from the Data Team.
  • Analyze data outcomes to provide valuable insights and trend analysis supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Assess potential business impacts due to alterations.
  • Provide data for measuring performance KPIs.
  • Prepare reports for regular governance meetings, collaborating closely with the Customer Engagement Team.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity, and report any integrity issues to IT and management.
  • Assist in creating business cases.
  • Reporting:
    • Sales performance by airline, destination, and other factors.
    • Trend analysis.
    • Analysis of digital marketing and tracking of promotional activities.
    • Customer satisfaction data analysis – C Sat and CITA.
    • Analyze the impact of business changes.
    • Deliver reports on a regular basis to business stakeholders.
    • Evaluate rebates and supplier sales.
  • Draft detailed requirement documents for new IT-generated reports.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.

Your Expertise:

  • 3 years' experience in a related field such as Data Visualization and Analytics.
  • Consolidation of data from multiple sources.
  • Management of internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Collaboration with businesses to refine their strategies, enhance operational efficiency, and performance.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Run reports on BI Tool for the UK/Europe Customer Base and any necessary ad-hoc reports.
  • Preparedness to fill in for the Business Intelligence Data Analyst Africa if needed.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a retail setting
  • Data Modeling expertise
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Required Qualifications:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Degree level education or equivalent

    • Proficiency in Reporting/Dashboard Tools (Power BI or Tableau) – Strong knowledge and experience essential.
    • MS Excel – Demonstrable skills through certification or experience, preferably at an Advanced Level.
    • MS PowerPoint – Ability to summarize data for effective communication.
    • Proficiency in MS Word for report writing.
    • Adept knowledge of business models, especially in a retail environment.
    • Quick assimilation of new information with a keen understanding of business impacts.
    • Ability to present analysis and insights internally and externally, to individuals and groups.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and customer-centric approach.
    • Effective written communication skills.
    • Advantageous to have data modeling skills.
