We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the transportation and distribution of raw materials and finished goods for our manufacturing company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and costeffective transportation and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Manage and oversee the transportation and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, including import and export activities, in compliance with all local and international regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners, such as suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Analyse transportation and distribution information to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and carriers.
  • Manage logistics budget and ensure costeffective solutions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage logistics staff and provide coaching and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of transportation and distribution regulations, including international import and export laws.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations.
  • Experience managing budgets and developing logistics strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
R100, R150,000.00 per month
