REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant qualification
  • Proven work experience as a Credit Control Administrator or Junior Credit Controller in a fastpaced environment
  • 12 years of debtors collection experience
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and be organised
  • Be computer literate (Demonstrable experience and ability to use ICT packages i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Good internet connection essential
  • Understand and commit to good customer care
  • Be pragmatic, creative and an effective problemsolver, with emphasis on fast and practical solutions

DUTIES

  • Dealing with clients' daytoday issues in a quick and efficient manner
  • Learning how to raise first and final reminders
  • Escalating issues to either Property Managers or to your Team Leader
  • Agreeing to set up monthly payment plans with Clients
  • Maintaining uptodate information on Online computer system
  • Covering some of the admin duties when the administrators are on leave or as requested by your team leader
  • Assisting the team leader on additional ad hoc duties
  • Learning how to raise debtors reports and how to manage own portfolio
  • Looking after the administrative duties and being responsible for your own portfolio of accounts
  • Requesting for first and final reminders to be sent to clients for nonpayment of the service charges
  • Discussing and receiving advise from the Team leader to add admin charges to the accounts and which accounts need to be passed on to solicitors
  • Escalating issues to either Property Managers or to the Team leader
  • Agreeing to set up monthly payment plans with Clients
  • Maintaining uptodate information on database
  • Escalate all complaints to the Head of credit control.
