Our client is a growing IT company, dedicated to providing our clients with the best technology support solutions and services, based in the Northern Suburbs, and searching for more talent Their goal is to partner with clients so looking for the right team player to join our young, dynamic, and growing team.

You will help plan, build, manage, and maintain a reliable, efficient, and secure enterprise-level computer, data, and communications network.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.) as well as configure appropriate software and functions according to specs.
  • Evaluate network performance issues, including availability, throughput, and latency, and then define and implement appropriate network policies and procedures.
  • Secure enterprise networks by developing access, monitoring, control, and evaluation protocols, including comprehensive documentation.
  • Engage in regular troubleshooting activities, resolve problems and connectivity issues, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Maintain the integrity of the enterprise and cloud network through server deployment and the establishment of security and regulatory compliance based on established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure clients and team are regularly updated on progress of Tickets, and/or projects.
  • Provide oncall and weekend support (when required).
  • Research and delivery of project work (when required).

Education and experience:


Matric and a Degree/ Diploma in computer science, engineering, or business management with an emphasis on information technology or equivalent Certifications in Information Technology i.e.

(Microsoft - MCSA, MCSE. CompTIA - A+, N+ etc) is required for this position.

  • Microsoft Windows Server experience
  • Domain Management

  • Office 365 Exchange
  • SharePoint Site development and management
  • User Role Management
  • Azure AD
  • Mailbox Rules
  • Experience with network security
  • Network intrusion prevention
  • Project Management experience/skills (advantageous)

Office hours: 8am - 5pm

Salary dependent on experience.

R23 000,00 - R28 000,00 per month
