Job purpose As a system's analyst within the aYo Integration Team, you will support projects and initiatives with detailed documentation to implement, maintain, and support IT and information systems to meet the business needs of organizations and scale as the business grows.


As a system's analyst, you'll use computers and related systems to specify new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features or improvements in order to improve business efficiency and productivity.

You'll need a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices.

Key responsibilities Core responsibilities

  • Perform System Integration Analysis across the aYo and Partner EcoSystems, specialising in integration technologies, integration systems and integration patterns.
  • Plan and conduct analysis workshops with stakeholder coordination.
  • Translate and analyse the business requirements, system integration related problems and opportunity, and influence the High Level Design and Benefits Case for each initiative.
  • Distil system integration design constraints, tradeoffs and consequence for business and technical consumption
  • Perform low level analysis on business requirements and existing IT systems (internal to aYo and external Partner Platform), map and document interface specification between systems, translate the requirements into detailed development specifications (sequence flows) and prepare specifications for modified or replacement systems
  • Maintain traceability for systems integration design, API Definition and System specification, assuring the integration design for Use Cases impacting on the aYo EcoSystem (incl. external partners platform) on every initiative
  • Maintain a API and Integration Design Library for aYo Integration
  • Be flexible to work in either AGILE or Waterfall methodology.
  • Support the handovers into Design Authority for both High Level Design and Detailed Design activities given the various stages of implementation methodology.
  • Develop assurance objectives on Systems Integration Testing and sign off on the health of functional and nonfunctional integration testing during SIT.
  • Analyse business requirements and existing IT systems, map and document interface specification between systems, translate the business requirements into detailed development specifications (sequence flows among others), conduct requirements traceability analysis and prepare specifications for modified or replacement systems and document solutions and related integration specifications (user requirements specification use cases and sequence flows of integration among others)
  • Draw up technical change requests, release notes and method of operation procedures to support change control and system updates
Engage with all stakeholders in a professional and cooperative manner Gain commitment from senior stakeholders to accept proposed actions

  • Provide input during engagements with senior stakeholders and obtain buyin for proposed actions, you may also be required to represent aYo at relevant governance forums to facilitate best outcome for the business
  • Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver on agreements made with stakeholders in order to ensure that expectations are managed
  • Make recommendations to improve stakeholder engagement
  • Participate and contribute to the aYo culture by living the aYo values.
