Areas of delivery:

Artwork receipts and recording

Receive, record and verify artworks
Artwork packaged, includes off-site art collections
Prepare artworks for sale
Package as per requirements
Collects and safely transports physical artworks from collection locations
Artwork storage

Ensure art items are properly packed and protected for safe storage into art storage warehouse/containers
Artwork dispatched
Ensure all art pieces are correctly identified and picked for dispatch, as per delivery note
Ensure art packing is completed timeously, as per dispatch shipping instructions and project brief
Assist with daily art store warehouse activities and movement of items
Artwork stock take
Performs physical stock takes to prescribed process and frequency
Investigates stock take queries in accordance to prescribed processes
Events and exhibitions
Assist with installations and deinstallations as required.
Assist with site preparation.

General:

Assist with other logistics and business operational duties, as required.
Always adhere to company occupational health and safety procedures
Assist with driving as required

Required:

Experience in art handling - packing and storage
Inventory experience preferable
Code 8 drivers licence
Able to work independently
Good team player
High attention to detail
Good problem-solving techniques
Deadline driven
Applicant must be based in Cape Town and have South African citizenship or have a valid work permit
