ROLE PURPOSE

The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the marketing manager for implementation of various marketing plans and activities aimed at improving the business of the company.


Including, but not limited to:

  • Graphic Design
  • Social media
  • Events
  • General Admin


Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.


ROLE REQUIREMENT

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
  • Develop illustrations and other designs.
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and onbrand.
  • Works under the direction of the marketing manager to support the marketing team with daytoday marketing activities, administration, and projects to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives.
  • Assisting with collation of content and the production of marketing and promotional materials, including company documentation, corporate gifts etc.
  • Assisting with the production of artwork and sourcing images when needed
  • Assisting with the production of presentations and videos and animations
  • Undertake other daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
  • Serves as a link between the various sales teams and marketing.
  • Assisting with market research (projects) for new products and markets.
  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.
  • Keeping inventory of all marketing related items on primary site.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of digital and/or social media marketing and/or mobile strategies.
  • Responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities.
  • Collaborating with marketing, internal teams, clients, and partners on marketing strategies and content creation.
  • Coordinating/assisting with the collation of content for a wide range of marketing communications including digital and social media.
  • Must be flexible when assisting with functions and project deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A degree or diploma in marketing or graphic design
years' work experience.

  • Experience within a technology related environment is a bonus.
