Job Duties:
Perform fibre optic splicing in both outdoor and indoor settingsConduct quality checks on spliced fibres using OTDR equipmentTroubleshoot and repair fibre optic cables as neededCoordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Required Qualifications:
Splicing CertificateExperience working with fibre optics in a telecommunications environmentEducation:A splicing certificate or equivalent qualification in fibre opticsExperience:Prior experience working with fibre optics in a telecommunications settingKnowledge and Skills:Proficiency in fibre optic splicing techniquesUnderstanding of OTDR equipment and its applicationsStrong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in fibre optic technologyExperience with splicing in a variety of environments

Working Conditions:
Work will primarily be conducted outdoors and in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
