A family is looking for a LIVE IN HOUSE MANAGER / AU PAIR for their children aged 16 years old and 23 years old

Area:
Melrose

Live in:
Separate bedroom and bathroom provided

Duties:
Being a stand in mother while the employer travels for work,

Getting the kids up for the day,

Preparing and giving breakfast,

Ensuring school lunches and school bags are packed,

General care and supervision of the children (main care is for the 16 year old, general supervision of the 23 year old),

Management of house staff, shopping, errands and attending to anything childcare, household and pet related,

Cooking - this is important, all cooking for the family (breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks,

Transporting to and from activities,

Ensuring the safety of the children,

Maintaining routines,

Transport children to doctors or any other appointments,

Using petty cash/petrol card/family credit card to purchase school supplies and any other items the children require,

Babysitting and weekend work by prior arrangement,

Accompany children on outings,

Ad hoc errands,

Proactive communication with parents.

Start Date and contract term:
ASAP start - permanent contract

Salary:
R25 000 per month plus petrol for driving done within working hours at SARS rates

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

**Must have a clear criminal record

**Must have a passion for children

**Must have Matric

**Must have a South African ID document.
