We are looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who will oversee and coordinate the grant management process ensuring compliance with established financial policies and sound business practices and to provide direct support to Project Managers and Funders.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- BCom / BCompt Degree / Financial Management or relevant Tertiary qualification.
- 5 years Management experience preferably in Grants & Contracts.
- Knowledge of donor grants and the Non-Profit sector, desirable.
- Sound knowledge of financial accounting policies and procedures.
- Project Management experience.
- Proficient in Pastel Evolution or other ERP
- Sound knowledge of Grants Management & Contractual knowledge.
- Sound knowledge of Subrecipient Management.
- Sound knowledge of Corporate Governance Principles and Regulations.
- Proficient in all MS Packages-PowerPoint, Word (Excel advanced).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
- Deadline driven.
- Valid driver's license and willing to travel as and when required.
