Kitchen Supervisor (Salary R Per Hour)

PURPOSE:
To oversee the kitchen operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Ultimately, you will ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the efficient running of the Kitchen

Supervising employees and ensuring duties and tasks under your control are adhered to by staff available

Ensure preparation, presentation, hygiene and service standards are maintained

Oversee stock and ensure compliance within company policy and procedures

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

Regularly review product quality

Ensure compliance with sanitation, health and safety regulations

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

REQUIREMENTS:

National Senior Certificate

Contactable references

Clear criminal and ITC records

Minimum - 3 years' of work experience on a supervisory level - Essential

Knowledge of stock issues, costing and controls

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

Organizing and Planning skills

Customer Centric

Productivity driven

High energy levels & able to work under pressure
