The cashier is responsible for delivering service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operation and merchandising that leads to a positive customer experience.

Shop Outputs

  • Customer care: Deal with all customer queries and complaints in a caring, polite and professional manner at all times.
  • Merchandising
  • Receiving/Ordering Products
  • Minimize stock loss/damage/theft.
  • Following up on queries and discrepancies timeously.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Maintaining good customer relationships.
  • To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased
  • To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
  • To make customers aware of promotions to help drive sales.
  • To ensure that the shop is neat and tidy at all times.
  • To ensure that the shelves are kept neat and tidy at all times.
  • To carry out general housekeeping duties.
  • To maintain updated knowledge on our products and promotions in order to provide the correct information to customers at all times.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
