Our client, a mid-sized direct sales company and a well-established household name has been proudly contributing to South Africa for over 50 years.

An opportunity has become vacant for an IT Manager in their Support Centre in Century City whereby you will report directly to the executive management team of the company.

Purpose of the Position

• To manage the IT department and ensure that the company's IT infrastructure meets the strategic goals and relevant needs of the business and is maintained or upgraded as required.
• To maintain security and integrity of company data and systems, to manage IT projects.
• To manage third party vendors and outsourcing.
• To build relationships and manage communication within the IT department and with other managers.
• Ensuring efficient and reliable IT systems are available for the business, including network administration, support, IT infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing systems, procedures and policies to meet the company's needs for IT and telecommunications
• Managing employees
• Leading and managing development team to ensure successful delivery of projects and queries
• Keeping up to date with trends and technologies to ensure that opportunities are identified and needs within the business are met and strategic projects recommended

Minimum Requirement

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years in a management role
• Substantial project management experience in IT
• 2+ years in a role dealing extensively with 3rd party providers
• 2+ years related IT experience (e.g. networks, telecoms etc)

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science or Information Systems

• Certifications in project management and IT management
• Good understanding of hybrid cloud computing

Salary:
R35, R50,000.00 per month
