Our company is currently in search of a skilled and experienced Truck Wheel Alignment Technician to become part of their team. This role requires a deep understanding of truck and trailer suspension systems, prior experience with Haweka alignment machines, and a strong dedication to providing top-notch service.

Responsibilities:
- Execute wheel alignments on trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize Haweka alignment machines for diagnosing and resolving alignment challenges.
- Demonstrate expertise in air and mechanical suspension systems of recognized brands such as Volvo, Afrit trailers, SAF Holland, and SA Truck bodies.
- Conduct thorough assessments of suspension components, spotting and potentially replacing worn-out or damaged parts.
- Maintain a well-organized and tidy work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Efficiently communicate alignment results and recommendations with service advisors and customers.
- May need to take on additional responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of solid experience in truck and trailer wheel alignment.
- Detailed knowledge of suspension systems, particularly those of Volvo, Afrit trailers, SAF Holland, and SA Truck bodies (both air and mechanical).
- Excellent mechanical capabilities for diagnosing and resolving suspension component deterioration.
- Proficiency in operating Haweka alignment machines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to delivering top-quality results.
- Capability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong time management skills for efficient task prioritization and completion.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to the company's depot situated in Alrode.
- Readiness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Competency in laptop use, including email and spreadsheet applications proficiency (preferably MS Office).
