Operations Manager

Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair wooden structures, such as doors, windows, and cabinets.
  • Build and repair furniture.
  • Lay flooring and install roofing.
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings and structures.
  • Follow blueprints and building plans.
  • Maintain occupational safety standards.
  • Work with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Expectations:

  • They will also be a team player who is able to work well with others and communicate effectively.
  • They should be able to work in a variety of environments, including indoors and outdoors.
  • They should be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • They should also be able to work long hours and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Full qualifications in carpentry or a related trade.
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry and/or general maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent woodworking skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and fit.
  • Passionate about woodworking and has a keen eye for detail.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • A good communicator and problem solver.
  • Safety conscious and always follows safety procedures.
  • Willing to learn new things and take on new challenges.
