  • The main purpose of this position is to execute master data creations and changes for products, customers and users. Update the master data and developing systems to improve master data capture, support the creation and approval of data sheets etc.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completed Matric or equivalent.


 Relevant IT Qualification
  • SQL Certification preferred
  • Min 1+ years of experience in Master Data Administration.
  • ERP experience is preferable.
  • QA and BI basic knowledge.

DUTIES:

  • Execute Master Data creations and changes for products, customers, and users. (but not limited to)
  • Updating the Master data and developing systems to improve master data capture.
  • Support the creation and approval of data sheets.
  • Perform data quality checks.
  • Identify and correct minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and understand the correlation of data in daytoday operations.
  • Support the implementation of data strategies.
  • Support on all Data Management related service calls from the help desk.
  • Act as facilitator between Business Data Owner and Master Data.
  • Consult with internal business to understand new business requirements, translation thereof into the system and master data.
  • Managing the process to ensure consistency in Master Data creation, changes, and deletions.
  • Maintain master data integrity around current Master Data (customers, products, users etc)
  • Establishing new processes and quality metrics around Master Data elements to ensure the consistency
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance is adhered to for all key and relevant financial and master data controls.
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of data, identify potential issues and root causes.
  • Expertise with data profiling, data cleansing, and standardization.
