Our client, a leading firm in the engineering consulting industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join their team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design and construction of various civil engineering projects.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including infrastructure development, transportation systems, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and more. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers, to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility systems
  • Prepare technical drawings, reports, and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure project coordination and integration
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the field of civil engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the consulting industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
