Ophthalmic Assistant:
Pretoria

An Ophthalmology Practice in Pretoria is seeking to employ an Ophthalmic Assistant so start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing according to patients ailments and history
  • Attend to reporting and electronic Medical notes where necessary
  • Administer Ophthalmic or oral medication under the guidance of the ophthalmologist
  • Assist with inroom procedures
  • Following the necessary protocol and ensuring equipment is sterile and cleanliness of the practice is adhered to
  • Provide patient education based on the diagnosis and patient needs

Qualifications

  • HPCSA Registration
  • Ophthalmic Assistant experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Team player
  • Reliable and high work ethic
