Requirements:

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To support the accountant manager in providing a comprehensive Financial and Administration support.
  • External Interaction: Suppliers, service providers.
  • Internal Interaction: Sales staff.
  • Processing of sales journals daily.
  • Processing of cash books daily.
  • Processing Debtor Transactions.
  • Processing and recording transactions as per the bank statements.
  • Reconciling and resolving account discrepancies.
  • Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as sending payment reminders, filing paperwork.
  • Ensure Company records are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure exposure to losses minimised.
  • Ensure all receipts and journals have been completed prior to closeoff dates.
  • Ensure invoices are authorised in accordance with the levels of authority and allocate to correct supplier/creditors and or general ledger accounts daily expenses.
  • Following up on outstanding invoices & resolving queries.
