Lay cash and account bets for customers, and have a thorough understanding of all products, markets, and bet types.

  • Assist with customer queries and issues until a manager is required.
  • Must be able to handle and balance cash, as the clerk is deemed responsible for his/her money.
  • Responsible for accurately recording payouts and cancelled tickets, safeguarding these tickets, and handing them to management at the end of each business day
  • Understand bet limit amounts where authorization and/or an audit is required.
  • Knowledge of all EFT and FICA requirements which relate to the bookmaking industry.
  • Understand how to handle a lost ticket, and the procedures this entails
