Large, busy Restaurant in Knysna is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Restaurant General Manager to organize & run the restaurant activities in accordance with company's standards.
Meets restaurant financial objectives in food & beverage, payroll & restaurant costsAttracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing plans Controls purchases and inventory in accordance with set restaurant budgetsMaintains operations in accordance with the set policies and standard operating procedures, aiming for consistent productivity and quality.
Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food and beverage service offeringsScreening & interviewing suitable candidates for junior vacancies & ensuring that the necessary training is given to new recruitsEnsure that guests are enjoying their visit to our restaurantMaintains a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing hygiene standards and proceduresMaintains professional relations with all guests and staffAccomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of the restaurant operationsPrepares weekly reports as required by the companyRequirements:Grade 12At least 3 years experience as a Restaurant General ManagerSound financial and organizational skillsPassion for training and development Candidate must have own reliable transportCandidate must be of sober habitsCandidate must have good solid work track record with contactable referencesGreat oral and written communicationHigh level of attention to detailAdaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes within the company#J-18808-Ljbffr
