Fire Detection and Gas Suppression technician

Salary - Market Related, depending on experience


A well-established engineering services firm has an opportunity for an experienced Fire Detection and Gas Suppression technician to join their team in the Pretoria West area.


Working hours:
Monday - Friday: 07H00 - 16H30

Minimum requirements:

  • 5+ years working experience in a Fire, Gas suppression environment
  • High proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word inclusive of MS Projects)
  • Technical qualification will be advantageous
  • Driver's license and own vehicle to get to work
  • SAQCC Registered (Fire & Gas suppression)
  • Previous Product Training
  • In depth knowledge of SANS 10139, SANS 246

Duties will include but is not limited to:

  • Doing installations and maintenance
  • To provide costing and pricing for Fire, Gas suppression & Security Systems (tenders and quotes)
  • To provide fire protection designs and industry specific solutions to clients.
