Aufgaben:

  • Job Description
  • To coordinate KTMA (i.e. Purchase part dimension audit) for Mercedes-Benz South Africa. Be a part of measuring team in MBSA Metrology. Working on geometry issues with use of advances measuring equipment, technologies and systems. Ensure strong customer focus and support the production of good quality cars out of East London.


 The Job Requirements
  • Communication and presentation Skills
  • PiWeb experience
  • Have knowledge on KTMA processes
  • Willingness to work a 3 shift model
  • Computer literacy skills
  • Experience in working with CAD models to read & understand drawings
  • Ability to conduct measurement analysis as an advantage; e.g. with
  • CALIGO or Polyworks
  • Ability to perform the minimum physical & mental requirements of the
- function

  • Leadership behaviors as per LEAD
Outputs- Standard reporting of QZ (i.e. Quality Targets)

  • Support with crossfunctional technical product investigations
  • Maintenance of measuring software.
  • KTMA coordination
  • Perform accuracy and repeatability checks
  • Ensuring data transfer to PiWeb
  • Problem solving analysing results
  • Interpretation of measuring reports

Qualifikationen:

  • Qualification
  • Minimum NQF
  • National Certificate Mechanical Engineering or relevant equivalent
  • At least 6 months participation on our MBSA Graduate Development Programme.
Knowledge and Experience- 1-3 years' experience in Metrology
