We are seeking a highly skilled Mid - Snr Senior Systems Analyst on contract in Cape Town.

You will have a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to bridge the gap between technology and functional requirements.

This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various departments.


Proven experience 5+ years as a Systems Analyst, proficiency in analyzing complex systems, processes, and data structures with solid technical skills with experience in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) and database management.

Some experience in Supply Chain / Retail systems is required.

R350 - R400 per hour

Area:
Cape Town - up to 4 days onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex business processes, requirements, and system needs to propose innovative technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and document user requirements, functional specifications, and system design.
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions and system enhancements to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Perform system audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
  • 4 days onsite is required unless working on a project with online team but assume need to come in as first point of call.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 5+ years as a Systems Analyst.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex systems, processes, and data structures.
  • Solid technical skills with experience in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) and database management.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong XML skills
  • Good understanding of integration formats
  • SRS (Specification Document Writing) experience
  • Strong communication
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
  • Standby may be required (after 3 months)

Salary:
R350,00 - R400,00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
