Ascot Wealth Management Ltd has rapidly expanded and the Cape Town office is the first of several new offices that was opened so far.


As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets in order to provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

You will work closely with the management across the organization to understand their data needs and provide them with timely and accurate information.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, and analyse large and complex data sets using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data to develop insights and recommendations
  • Design and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Create and present data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Develop and implement data quality control processes to ensure data integrity
  • Identify opportunities to improve data storage and analysis processes
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data modelling techniques
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
