  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee various engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to create URS aligned with project scope.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects according to project scope through all project phases.
  • Execute technical tasks as per project plan including Design, Research and Development, Testing, and Data Capturing.
  • Engage with stakeholders, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Identify and address potential project risks proactively.
  • Comply with all statutory regulations in project design and execution.
  • Generate manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and parts lists for projects.
  • Document project requirements such as technical specifications, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Monitor and manage project expenses within budget limits.
  • Implement effective change control when introducing new technologies or processes.
  • Assist Maintenance team in equipment breakdown analysis.
  • Support the quality team in addressing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
  • Discover opportunities for value engineering to enhance process efficiency.
  • Provide design support and address related issues within the team.
  • Identify and mitigate product and OHS risks effectively.
  • 50% focus on Designing & Problem Solving / 50% on Project Management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and attention to detail abilities.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines successfully.
  • Effective supervisory and leadership qualities.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Design and CAD.
  • Capability to source and engage with suppliers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in project management, engineering, systems design, or relevant areas.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time according to project management standards.
  • Experience in Mechanical Design within a production setting.
  • Advantageous to have knowledge in industrial automation and electrical control systems.
  • Experience with pneumatic system design.
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Processes.
