REQUIREMENTS:

  • Gr 12 or equivalent
  • 12 years experience as a Material Handler
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry would be advantageous
  • Forklift license essential

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and mixing of raw material
  • Placement of raw materials
  • Taking off of raw material at the end of the production run
  • Storing and marking of raw materials
  • Storing and marking of regrind
  • Consideration of drying and predrying times
  • Housekeeping of raw materials, stores, hopper area
  • Bagging and labelling (correctly) of all materials
  • Removal of QA/labelled boxes from the machines as soon as boxes are full
  • Placing boxes removed from machines neatly in the store and completing booking sheets
