Licensing and Renewals Specialist

What you'll do


You will be the primary point of contact for Customers and Partners when it comes to discussing and/or renewing of the Mimecast Service.

The role is focused heavily on transactions, retention and revenue.

As a Licensing and Renewals Specialist you will be responsible for the accuracy of Customer & Partner Renewal Opportunities and Sales Orders at all times within our CRM system.

Reporting on progress against defined monthly targets will be required to ensure performances and results are accurately tracked and managed ongoing.

What you'll do

  • Accuracy of Customer & Partner Renewal Opportunities and Sales Orders at all times within our CRM system
  • Timely processing of Customer & Partner Renewals
  • Ensuring Win-Win Outcomes in Customer & Partner Renewals that might require renegotiation
  • Implementing and managing key business objectives
  • Ensures both systems and processes are optimized and maximised
  • Strong working relationships with Mimecast Finance Team, Go-ToMarket Teams, Customers & Partners
  • Collaboration with Partners and Customers to ensure contract renewal is successful
  • Updating of at Risk Renewals where customer may terminate contract
  • System administration in terms of CRM notes around upcoming renewals
  • Management of various reporting to Manager for weekly review

  • Good communication skills
  • Must have worked closely with customers and vendors alike
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time aka mutlitasking
  • Ability to analyze data effectively
  • Confidence and excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience with Systems such as SFDC, Oracle, SAP, Siebel and other CRM systems is preferable
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Good understanding of Contracts, Purchase Orders and Billings
