Grade 3 Foundation Phase TeacherQualifications: 4-year Bachelor of Education degree or Bachelor's degree and PGCE in the relevant subject /phase specializationRegistered with SACESouth African citizenAt least 3- year teaching experiencePolice Clearance (not older than 3 months)Fluent in English and AfrikaansBroad knowledge of and interest in the development and education of childrenA track record of high expectations personally and professionallyPersistence through challengesA driver's license (own car would be great)Good understanding and application of school software programmes – Edupac and Microsoft 365 (or must be willing to be trained)Good understanding of the use of a variety of technologies in the classroom and online – tablets, Microsoft Teams (Keeps up to date)Strong planning, organising, and reporting skillsTeaching learners critical thinking methodsUphold the school valuesVery good communication skills – oral, written and presentationAbility to work within a successful teamSubstantive understanding of current pressures relating to family and socio-economic aspects and how these may impact pupilsAbility to mentor and manage trainee teachersA Curriculum Vitae, Certified SACE certificate and contact information of at least three referees should be e-mailed to
