Senior Technican

The Senior Technicians role is to support and maintain the technology equipment and assets specifically working with cash processing, ATM and POS equipment.

This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all Company's hardware and equipment while insuring its optimal performance and excellent customer service.

Responsible for support for clients and troubleshoot their equipment problems and concerns, including performing regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements.

The Senior Technician will be responsible for providing support, client services and training.

The Key Performance Areas:

• Provide Technical support for customers and internal staff
• Service and Repair Note and Coin Counting equipment onsite and at clients premises as required
• Provide telephonic Technical Support and training to Customers
• Efficient and accurate processing of equipment as per invoices
• Onsite customer support and service in South Africa

Requirements:

• Technical Qualification Required N3, N4, N5, N6 or trained and experienced in these fields
• Minimum 5+ years experience
• Experiencing working with cash processing, ATM or similar equipment is advantageous
• Technical ability mechanical, electronics and electrical
• Customer service attributes
• Electronic & Electrical faultfinding knowledge
• Solder ability to solder electronic boards
• Honest, well presented, good written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of cash counting equipment repairs and maintenance
• Drivers license
• No criminal record
• Ability to follow rules and regulations due to cash environment
