Overall assessment of the Food & Beverage department staffing and feedback in terms of an action plan for remedying the shortfalls.

SOP's to be maintained and implemented. Ensure all SOP's are achieved, maintained and adjusted according to operational requirements and agreed standards.

Staff & Training - ensure staff throughout all sections have been trained and are at 5-star level for upcoming season.

Preparation of monthly F&B report in terms of financial profitability and points of action for cost saving and departmental profitability and efficiency.

Implement a monthly forecast in regard to staff complement / cost.
Stock control, conduct regular stock takes and provide feedback on variances.

Lead, manage and motivate staff to work effectively as a team and to over-deliver on customer satisfaction and 5-star standards.

Lift the morale of the team. Retain key personnel.
Develop a feedback and measurement system to evaluate guest and customer satisfaction in Food & Beverage department.

Take corrective action where necessary in line with the online reviews received via Dineplan, Google and received via any written communication etc.

Draft & implementation of food & beverage festive programme.

Health & Safety:
implement food & beverage best practice applicable to the F&B outlets.
Compilation of departmental monthly finance reports on systems provided.
Any F&B projects relating to the nature of the business.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 year recognized professional hotel / hospitality management qualification or proven success track record
At least 5 years' extensive experience within F&B Restaurant Operations and managing experience
Highly proficient in leading, motivating, training and organizing teams
Strong outgoing personality with exceptional communication and administration skills
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS Micros/ Xero "Willingness to learn"
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Flexibility with regard to working hours
Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices and presentation
Ability to think out of the box and create a unique experience for guests
Ability to manage staff and meet financial targets
Guest-orientated and service-minded
