As a Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of designing and managing cutting-edge solar projects from start to finish.

From the moment the Notice to Proceed is issued, you will oversee the entire process, ensuring smooth commissioning and seamless handover to our Asset Management team.


Your role will involve collaborating with various engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, civil, and control & instrumentation, to ensure the successful integration of solar PV projects with other electrical systems.

You will provide valuable technical input and feasibility assessments, recommending design improvements and optimizing project efficiency.

Additionally, you will take charge of preparing and managing technical specifications, tender stages, and contract negotiations.

Your expertise will be crucial in conducting due diligence for solar PV projects and mitigating risks throughout the entire lifecycle, including construction, operations, and finances.


Business development will also be an exciting aspect of your role, as you contribute to defining sales strategies, identifying target markets, and scoping services.

With a special focus on African markets, you will play a pivotal role in driving our expansion and making a meaningful impact on the continent.


To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or BTech in Electrical Engineering, with a particular emphasis on solar PV technology.

You should bring at least 5 years of design experience in the field, including exposure to commercial and industrial solar PV projects.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and the international solar PV market will be highly valued.


We also value your expertise in energy efficiency projects and familiarity with software tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD.
