The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campus is looking to fill a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) specializing in:

  • Marketing (Digital Entrepreneurship)

Job Purpose:

  • Lecture using provided material, guide and support students in their learning journey. Evaluate student submissions and actively participate in campus teaching and learning activities.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures based on provided content. Enhance content with personal expertise. Assess student work and offer meaningful feedback. Manage academic administration tasks such as recording assessment marks and assessing student performance. Give constructive feedback on content. Stay engaged in professional development opportunities and participate in training sessions.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Ideally:
  • A degree/diploma in Information Systems/Computer Science with Marketing up to a second-year level
  • A 3-year degree or diploma in Digital Marketing
  • Alternatively:
  • A 3-year degree/diploma in a business-related field (e.g. Business Management, Supply Chain Management) with completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level
  • A 3-year degree/diploma in Marketing with completion of Information Technology modules up to a first-year level
  • Bachelor's degree with expertise in web programming and marketing

Working Conditions:

  • This is an Independent Contractor role.
