Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair Medium Voltage electrical systems, including Cast Iron equipment. Perform jointing and termination work on both mulitcore & single core PILCA & XLPE insulated cables. Conduct inspections and testing of Medium Voltage equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Safely work with Indoor, Outdoor & Overhead Line equipment, adhering to all safety protocols. Utilize expertise in cable fault location & cable testing to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Complete MV switching operations as required, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. Maintain up-to-date certifications, including ORHVS, MV switching, and Working at Heights. Provide proof of experience and quality of work during the interview process.

Requirements:

Proven experience in working with Cast Iron and 11/22 & 33kV Medium Voltage systems. Expertise in mulitcore & single core PILCA & XLPE insulated joints & terminations. Familiarity with Indoor, Outdoor & Overhead Line equipment. Working at Heights course completed. Up-to-date medicals and ORHVS certification obtained within the last 2 years. MV switching certification and experience. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
