We are looking for an enthusiatic, experienced Accountant with a high attention to detail and accuracy level to join the Accounting team based in Isando, South Africa.

The main purpose of the role would be to provide accurate information for financial reporting and work within established procedures and pratices with a limited degree of supervision.

The main responsiblities will include:

Complete accurately standard financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles
Support senior accountants to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and accounting statements for senior management.
Support on process improvement and related KPIs implementation
Assist with special project as required
Support in reconcile a wide variety of financial data for the purpose of maintaining accurate accounte balances and ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory guidelines



Qualifications


The suitable applicant should meet the following minimum criteria:

Matric
Bachelors degree in Accounting
2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in handling GRIR processes, journal entries, finance query management, Banking EFT payments, travel expenditure management
Must be a South African citizen with valid ID
Please note this role requires someone who is willing to work over the December period annually since this is financial year end so flexibility & dedication is needed
