Job Description

To design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. To monitor and report on own progress and proactively identify issues related to software development activities. To propose practical solutions to resolve issues. To collaborate in reviews of work with others as appropriate.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree Field of Study: Information Technology

Experience Required

Software Engineering Minimum 5 years Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions. Minimum of 5 years experience in Mainframe, COBOL Programming, Job Control Language (JCL), DB2 database and Knowledge around mainframe batch scheduling and processing., Knowledge of Toolsets: REMEDY, JIRA, Confluence, ISPW an advantage and Availability to do callout in 24 x 7 environment
