Main purpose of the position:

The maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment at the Silo’s.

Minimum Requirements:              

Grade 12; Appropriate Trade qualification (RED Seal Trade Test); 4 years post apprenticeship experience; Valid drivers license.

Skills:

Excellent communication and language proficiency in Afrikaans & English; Good knowledge of occupational health and safety; Mechanisation skills; Physical ability to perform the work; Willingness to work long hours; Good interpersonal skills; The ability to function in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities:

Checking and repairing of Silo equipment; Scheduled preventative maintenance; Compliance to safety regulations; General administration.
