The Project Manager is a critical role in enabling the organisation to deliver outstanding and quality work to both the internal and external stakeholders and fulfil commitments to our clients. This is a key role that requires an individual that possesses an exceptional high degree of project management, contract management, functional and technical acumen across all the various SAP modules. This role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong professionalism, presentation, self-motivation, excellent verbal/written communication & analytical skills. Most of all we are looking for someone with a great attitude, high energy, and an extremely high work ethic who is willing to learn, grow, coach and shape a winning team of innovative and diverse consultants

Responsibilities, Knowledge & Skills Required

Manages all activities related to SAP Implementation projects. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of a project throughout its lifecycle and its successful delivery. Ensures that all SAP project goals and objectives are achieved according to project requirements and objectives. Provide project management expertise and lead key project work streams, working with the full project life cycle, following project Governance processes. Manage the relationship with the customer and project stakeholders and be the primary contact to the customer throughout the implementation process. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and issues. Ensure adherence and compliance to project management methodology and best practices. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria. Communicate a clear vision of the project, the project’s objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them. Manage and ensure the project team’s compliance with all policies, procedures and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work (SOW) by the client. Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports. Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies. Manage and track timelines, budget and scope during the project implementation. Identify, and evaluate project risks and issues and devise and implement effective mitigation strategies. Manage change requests identification, assessment, approvals and communicate approved/ rejected changes to the relevant stakeholders. Management of financial (budgets, estimates, actuals, variances), contractual, and operational commitments and obligations. Work with the client’s project manager and module leads to track and update Project Plans, complete weekly status report, budget/burn rates, issue tracker and risk register. Manage and provide support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy and Testing Strategy Ensure timely resolution and or escalation of project issues, and or conflicts. Run weekly internal project team meetings and additional ad-hoc meetings as required to ensure successful delivery of the projects. Develop project management reports to communicate projects statuses, issues and risks to stakeholders. Manage and coordinate development of project documentations: solution design, functional specifications, configuration, test scripts, acceptance criteria, user acceptance tests, training manuals. Facilitate and or coordinate acceptance and signoff of project deliverables by client’s business process owners, super users, project managers. Complete Lessons Learnt session with clients and follow up with relevant teams on any outstanding issues

Role Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of related or similar work experience Degreed or Diploma in IT/Computer Science/Information System Certification in Project Management or equivalent SAP Certified Project Manager – Preferred Effective communication in English (written and verbal) Must have strong Computer literacy competency High level of flexibility and openness to work extended hours when necessary Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Ability to build strong, professional, cross-functional working relationships with internal & external stakeholders SAP Project Management ERP Implementation Team Leadership/ People Management Strong interpersonal skills SAP Certification in SAP Activate methodology is preferred Good knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools Resource allocation and management Financial management Monitoring and Reporting Change Management Quality management Risk management Time management/ Schedule management
