Job Purpose    

To unable the incumbents of the post graduate accountant to undergo a 3 year in-house triaining programme which provides candidates with comprehensive training in accounting and finance  with the treasury clusters.

Key Responsibility Areas    

Preparation of the draft estimate report. Assist with the preparation of the annual report and annual financial statements. Preparation of the annual and multi-year operating and capital budgets for the assigned output units. Compensation for occupational injuries and diseases costs. Undertake various reconciliations for the preparation of the AFS. Provide adequately for all bad and doubtful debts.

Essential Requirements    

B.Com Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent with Accounting as a major.

Preferred Requirements    

Post Graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) with Accounting as a major.
