Expectations and Tasks
As a Senior Technology Consultant, your role will involve working in a global team focusing on technical delivery of Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) services using DMLT Conversion and Migration tools.

We are looking for a team member in our Technical Migration team with SAP Development and SAP Finance experience. A major task will be to translate customer business requirements into DMLT deliverables.

Main tasks would be:

• Conduct feasibility studies and system analysis, supported by SAP DMLT technology and methodology.
• Provide consulting services: demonstrate the ability to deliver “DMLT projects” in collaboration with other consulting and development colleagues.
• Support scoping, analysis and development of the required solution approach by enhancing SLO tools & services.
• Build expertise to configure Data migration and Data transformation tools.  
• Execute data migration/ transformation delivery related activities in projects.
• Analyse and resolve issues resulting from customer testing.
• Building competencies and expertise to become a solution expert in a short time frame.
• Building best practice document and onboarding colleagues, become a multiplier and demonstrate ability to scale by onboarding and working with other delivery consultants.
• Strong technical and functional background in Finance will be huge advantage.

Education and Qualifications

• Experience 7-10 years technical experience in Consulting delivery.
• Technical delivery of minimum 2 SAP data migration projects.
• Experience in SAP ABAP programming languages, debugging and interfaces.
• Knowledge of Main processes, Master Data, Organizational Structure, Data structures (main tables and fields and their relationship).
• Has a strong understanding of SAP ECC / S/4HANA data model with sound understanding of processes in at least 2 of the application modules – SAP Finance, Controlling, MM, SD, PP, PM.
• Has experience working with SAP Customers from different industry segments such as Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Utilities, Automobile etc.
• Have experience in the area of Data migrations, Data transformations, Mergers, Acquisitions or Divestitures.
• Process knowledge for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate or Hire-2-Retire are a strong asset.
• Finance conversion to S/4HANA with System Conversion scenario with experience in SPRO configuration for Finance conversion.
• Implementation of Finance module for S/4HANA in greenfield scenario working with tools like Data Services / Migration Cockpit
• Experience with roll out of Company Codes in the context of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures.

• Experience working in international customer projects is a plus.

About the Team

Data Management and Landscape Transformation is a global Service Delivery organization within the Board Area Customer Success. We advise our customers in strategy definition, conceptual planning, and the realization of their business and technological transformation requirements for the digital economy.

Data Management and Landscape Transformation services offer a holistic approach for customers data-related needs with data quality and data integration services. The DMLT group serves SAP customers in managing their data and transforming their landscapes. Business, market, and technology changes result in realignment of business processes and structures. This reflects in various transformation and transition activities, such as

• Fast-track data migration and (selective) transition to the Intelligent Enterprise Suite (IES) (SAP S/4HANA cloud, SAP S/4HANA, BW/4, C4/H, SuccessFactors, SAP Data Intelligence and more)
• Manage business challenges that come with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Optimization of processes and data, or organizational restructuring by ensuring data harmonization, data restructuring or the consolidation of system landscapes.
• Improve management of data from strategy to execution, with the focus on data quality, data privacy, data volume and lifecycle, data integration, and master data management.
