Job purpose
To provide comprehensive nursing care and management for the nursing treatment and rehabilitation for all health problems of individuals, groups, and communities as a practitioner

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To provide a comprehensive primary health care services to the community including TB/HIV care, mother and child services, and general check-ups
  • Be able to implement and monitor various programmes
  • Provide reproductive health exams and education.
  • Provide pre-natal and post-natal services.
  • Improve the health of the community through health education
  • To implement health and safety best practices and monitor trends.
  • To liaise with the healthcare manager and other healthcare organisations.
Qualifications/Requirements (non-negotiable)
  • Matric
  • Diploma in Nursing/B.Curr
  • Dispensing License (Mandatory)
  • Qualified Professional Nurse with Midwifery
  • Short courses are an advantage : NIMART,IMCI, etc
  • 3-5 Years experience as a professional nurse working in community healthcare
  • Experience in working in an NPO
  • Must have good communication skills.
